So I realized that I didnt do a Wellness Tip last week...tisk tisk tisk!!
Well here is my tip for this week..
Just so you all are aware, I am in the process of losing 10-15 pounds. I weighed myself about 2 weeks ago, and I was at a weight that I have never been at in my life. I have never been a terrible eater, but I really wasnt conscience of EVERYTHING that I put into my body. The first week of my "adventure", I lost 1pound! It was amazing to me how excited and encouraged I was lol, it made me feel really good to know that I COULD lose the weight and do it my way!
Tip 1-Know your daily calorie intake for your weight, this can help with with what exactly you are supposed to be consuming on a daily basis.
Tip 2-Be conscience of the amount of Fruits, Veggies, Meats, Starches and Fat you have in EVERY meal. If you are conscience if this, you will be more mindful of what you put in your body.
Tip 3-3O MINUTES IS REALLY ALL YOU NEED--This morning I went to the gym and had a great 30min workout, I think people have the misconception that the longer you work out, the better the workout. That isnt the case, I did 20mins on the elliptical and then 10 mins of arm work. I felt very good afterwards and lost about 150-200 cals in the process.
