As I told you, I wanted to start giving you more shots of some outfits that I wear throughout the week and/or weekend. As the sun is shining a lot more, I have been more inclined to wear brighter colors and be more bold in my outfit choice. Because we all know that I am a fan of living and tryin evvvverything once, what do you have to lose??
I received this blazer from my wonderful co-worker and the red just screamed Spring, so of course i had to try it out! I received alotta compliments too. I had never worn a collar-less blazer, so I was hesitant to wear it. But I'm glad I did:)
I was really feelin in the mood to go against the grain this particular day last weekend!! I bought a daishiki a couple of years ago, and havent worn it ever since. When my husband and I got together, we learned that we both had matching daishikis but in different colors. This particular one is my hubs, but I loved the colors in his, so I wanted to try it out!
Tip---You can always make a garment feminine, a belt or chandelier earrings can do the trick.
I was feeling really daring this morning so I decided to wear my RED lipstick this morning to work. I talked about this lipstick from MAC a couple of weeks ago, and in my morning zest, I decided to be DARING and wear it to work. I have been receiving a lot of ooooohs and ahhhhhs, but I love the reaction when people see that you are trying something new.

So I realized that I didnt do a Wellness Tip last week...tisk tisk tisk!!
Well here is my tip for this week..
Just so you all are aware, I am in the process of losing 10-15 pounds. I weighed myself about 2 weeks ago, and I was at a weight that I have never been at in my life. I have never been a terrible eater, but I really wasnt conscience of EVERYTHING that I put into my body. The first week of my "adventure", I lost 1pound! It was amazing to me how excited and encouraged I was lol, it made me feel really good to know that I COULD lose the weight and do it my way!
Tip 1-Know your daily calorie intake for your weight, this can help with with what exactly you are supposed to be consuming on a daily basis. Tip 2-Be conscience of the amount of Fruits, Veggies, Meats, Starches and Fat you have in EVERY meal. If you are conscience if this, you will be more mindful of what you put in your body. Tip 3-3O MINUTES IS REALLY ALL YOU NEED--This morning I went to the gym and had a great 30min workout, I think people have the misconception that the longer you work out, the better the workout. That isnt the case, I did 20mins on the elliptical and then 10 mins of arm work. I felt very good afterwards and lost about 150-200 cals in the process.
